My art focuses on color and form. My palette leans toward the brightest of colors and is usually accented with black. I sometimes use fabrics I have dyed, painted or stamped to achieve the desired results. My work encompasses a wide variety of themes and subject matter. It is seldom planned but evolves as the work progresses. I enjoy creating pieces that have abstract shapes. I hope the visual effect of my work will draw the viewer into each piece and cause them to find their own interpretation and sanctuary.
