This particular piece was developed when I thought of a black and white background with bright colors. I felt that yellows and oranges would make the kind of impact I was looking for. Then it was in my mind's eye and I knew exactly how I wanted the completed piece to look. All of my pieces are from my mind and my heart. I can awake at night and see them in my mind. I find great joy in seeing a flat piece of fabric being transformed into something that others can enjoy, too. Experimenting with colors, textures and shapes is so much fun. More and more, I find that the sky is the limit.
