"Along the Coast" -- 2 years of photographs after Hurricane Katrina.

Artist statement and bio:

Rebecca Hutton is best known for her pioneering work as creative
partner and CEO of Indianapolis-based Theater of Inclusion® (TOI).
TOI, a collaboration between Ms. Hutton and fellow artist Dante
Ventresca, designs professional development workshops for all ages
that build focus, composure, and teamwork.

Ms. Hutton’s work as a photographer has grown out of documenting the
torn and tattered landscapes she has encountered while traveling
around the United States for her work with TOI. Over the past two
years, Ms. Hutton has returned numerous times to the Gulf Coast
region to photograph the battered Mississippi terrain between Biloxi
and Pass Christian.

In this first installment of photographs, Rebecca Hutton invites
viewers to stop for a moment to reflect upon what has been left after
Hurricane Katrina and investigate ways of articulating hope.
